Customize a notification, then start a timed burst.

1 Install on your iPhone

In Safari, open Share → Add to Home Screen. Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown. Then open the new Home Screen icon.

Requires iOS / iPadOS 16.4 or later.

2 Enable notifications

A single private key protects the send buttons.

Choose a name and type. Use the name as ${items} or ${store} in your message.

${items} items automatically becomes “1 item” when items is 1. For other words, use ${items|item|items}.

Settings save on this device. The Send Test buttons below use these settings.

Back up / restore settings

Export before removing the Home Screen app. This saves your notification settings, not your private key or push subscription.

Burst

Target: approximately 125 notifications.

Up to 3,600/hour. At that limit, intervals are one second. The server continues while this app is closed.

Accepted does not mean visibly displayed by iOS. STOP prevents future attempts; already accepted pushes may still arrive.

3 Send a test

Try an immediate push, then the closed-app test.

After scheduling, go to the Home Screen and lock your phone. The server sends the test.
